Team work helped Clinton and Irene Cattanach of Manteca find last Sunday’s prized gourd in the Manteca Bulletin’s Pumpkin Hunt.

She drove and he peered out the passenger window looking for the pumpkin based on the clues. He said when they pulled into the school driveway they could see the pumpkin behind the school message board sign. The couple owns and operates the Food and Fuel convenience store in Lathrop.

The three clues in last week’s Pumpkin Hunt contest:

• The man who wore the star was once found east of here: Refers to the Texaco station that was once at the corner of Yosemite Avenue and Powers Avenue.

• Paul Revere of musical fame would be at home here: Refers to the Lincoln School mascot - the Raiders.

• Near where the Buffalo roam: The Lincoln School campus is next door to Manteca High, the Home of the Buffaloes.

There are three more pumpkins left to find. Clues to win the next $100 are in this Sunday’s Manteca Bulletin.
