Five men were reportedly jumped by a car load of Hispanic teens at 2 a.m. Saturday as they were walking home from a West Yosemite Avenue bar.
Manteca Police said the men were walking in the 800 block of Marion Street when they saw a vehicle make a U-turn in the roadway and drive toward them. They said five to six teens got out of the vehicle and demanded money from the victims with three of them being battered.
One of the men lost his wallet in the attack that he told police contained several hundred dollars in cash. None of the men required medical treatment for their injuries, officers said.
