“GREATS” is an academic rally at Lathrop High that stands for Grades, Responsibility, Excellence, Attitude, and Spirit.

The second such event will take place at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday in the large gym in front of the student body along with parents and community members looking to attend.

The “GREATS” program will celebrate academic excellence, grade improvement, attendance and team work.

Those students honored – they were required to earn a 2.5 grade point average in three different subject categories – will have a chance to win prizes and gift certificates.
