RIPON - There are two crab feeds coming up in Ripon.

• Ripon’s American Legion Post 190 presents its annual crab feed on Saturday, Jan. 14, with cocktails at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. at the Ripon Community Center, 34 W. Fourth St., Ripon. Tickets are $40 per person. It includes all-you-can-eat crab, green salad, baked potato, fresh French bread, dessert, wine and coffee. A raffle and dancing will follow. Tickets are available from Darryl Bartels, State Farm Insurance, 210 S. Stockton Ave., 599-2174.

• Park View Elementary School in Ripon is hosting its first Crab Feed Fundraiser on Friday, Feb. 10, at the Ripon Community Center. It is an adult only event beginning at 6 p.m. (no host cocktails) with dinner, auction, and dancing following at 7 p.m. The meal will include salad, bread, pasta, and fresh cracked crab. Tickets are $45 each or a table of eight for $400 (includes 2 bottles of wine).
