4 classified workers recognized by MUSD as employees of year

Manteca Unified has recognized four classified workers as employees of the year.

They are:

*Paula, Office Manager – Sierra High School, for Clerical & Administrative Services

*Chris Snell, Head Custodian – Golden West Elementary School, for Custodial & Maintenance Services

*Sandra Burch, School Site Assistant – Golden West Elementary School, for Security Services

*Mike Lehr, Construction/Energy Technician – Manteca Unified School District, for Skilled Trade Services

The four non-teaching professionals have directly impacted student success and safety.

They were nominated by their supervisors and selected by a committee of executive leadership that carefully reviewed each nomination.

 About Gulbronson: “It is rare to find an individual with the willingness to work and challenge themselves at the level that Paula does. She is continuously striving to improve her skills and push herself to the next level. Paula is a humble leader, unafraid to step in and assist in difficult situations.” – Sierra High Staff 

 

About Snell: “Chris is a ray of sunshine – positive, patient, flexible, dedicated, and the hardest working person. He has a strong passion for serving our students and staff members, and he provides highly effective leadership. Our staff constantly sings praises about him.” – Golden West Staff 

 

About Burch: “Sandra is extremely effective in mentoring, supervising, and motivating students, which helps promote a positive campus climate. She is patient and effective – her compassion for students is reflected in how kids respond to her. They listen and respect her, and a significant number of our students treat her as a confidant during non-classroom activities such as recess.” – Golden West Staff 

 

*About Lehr: “Mike is an asset to the Facilities Department and Manteca Unified School District. He excels at working with teams on projects he oversees and is an excellent communicator. He is team-minded, pleasant, and always welcoming to ideas and challenges voiced by members of the Core Planning Teams.” – Facilities Department Staff
