Bass fishing club being formed for youth, teens
things to to

The San Joaquin Bass Masters are forming a fishing club for youth and teens.

Those interested are invited to the first meeting. It’s set for Sunday, Oct. 27, at 4:30 p.m. in the Conservation Room on the second floor of the Manteca Bass Pro Shops store at Union Road and the 120 Bypass.

The gathering is designed as a meet and greet as well as to learn about the club. Adult organizers will introduce themselves and share the purpose of the club as well as outline planned activities.

The club is being designed for two age groups — youth through eighth grade as well as juniors in 9th through 12th grades.

A welcome gift will be provided to those attending the first meeting of the San Joaquin Bass Masters Angler club.
