What do you get for a man who built a successful business and made significant contributions to the Manteca community?

His name gracing a future Manteca residential street.

Sarah “Andreetta” Quaresma  was the highest bidder for the ability to name a street on a Raymus Homes Development during Saturday’s 42nd annual Manteca Lathrop Boys and Girls Club crab feed.

Quaresma is the daughter of William “Bill” Andreetta, born and raised in Manteca and also a prominent downtown business owner.

 She wasn’t going to get out bid on naming a street. 

 “I want to honor my dad,” Quaresma said. “Getting a street named after him is perfect.”  

William “Bill” Andreetta has made significant contributions to the Manteca, community, embodying the values of leadership, service, and dedication. 

As part of the Andreetta family, which has been involved in the meat industry in Manteca since 1959, he established Sunnyvalley Smoked Meats in 1990.

 The company grew to become a cornerstone of the local economy, providing jobs and high-quality products while fostering a sense of community pride.

The company’s plant is on West Yosemite Avenue.

Beyond his business success, Andreetta has been a dedicated community servant.

 He was an active member of the Manteca Lions Club, serving as its president during the 1980s. 

Under his leadership, the Lions Club contributed to various initiatives aimed at improving the community, exemplifying the club’s mission of service. 

He also chaired the Manteca Pumpkin Festival when it was held on the Rossi property 

 .
