Park-A-Palooza — the Manteca Recreation & Community Services’ end of summer  event — returns to Woodward Park on Saturday, Aug. 10, at 5 p.m.

Besides food trucks there will be live music, a beer & wine  garden, big truck show as well as kids crafts and activities.

Other upcoming community event include:

*MUSIC ON MAPLE: A night of classic low rider oldies is the theme of the next Music on Maple taking place in the 100 block of Maple Avenue in downtown Manteca starting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15.

Enter your car or truck in the car show for a chance at prizes.

*MOVIES IN THE PARK: “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” is the featured film at the Movies in the Park taking place on Saturday, Sept. 14, at Woodward Park.

It starts at 5 p.m. with food trucks, games, live music and more. The movie starts at sundown.

*MUSIC ON  MAPLE: Hispanic Heritage Month is the theme for the Thursday, Sept. 19, Music on Maple in the 100 block of Maple Avenue in downtown starting at 6 p.m.

It will enjoy Latin musical hits, a Mariachi band and Folklorico dancing.

Various Latino businesses will offer treats and eats.
