It’s that time of the year for the City-Wide Yard Sale sponsored by the City of Ripon.

On Saturday, Oct. 12, residents can clear out some of their old belongings and turn them into extra cash.

Registration forms are currently available at Ripon City Hall, 259 N. Wilma Ave., in the Public Works Department.

The deadline is Tuesday, Oct. 8.

For some 20 years, the City-Wide Yard Sale has been scheduled on the second Saturday of October, and is part of the City of Ripon’s recycling program, which promotes re-use, repair and recycle.

Among the items usually featured are clothes, baby items, houseware goods, furniture, tools, electronics, appliances and toys.

Maps will be made available after 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at the local SaveMart, Ace Hardware and at City Hall, for those in search of those great deals.
