Master gardener, produce at Farmers Market Tuesday

You can find a master gardener and get information on the free recycling of electronics at Tuesday’sManteca Convention & Visitors Bureau’s downtown certified farmers market at Library Park as well as fresh produce, things to eat and other stuff.

The market runs from Tuesdays from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. through the end of August. A coupon appears in today’s Manteca Bulletin that will be good for one free pound of apricots from Fisher Farms for the first 100 people presenting the coupon.

Some of the farmers participating are DePalma Farms that sells peaches, nectarines, nuts, olives, plums, corn and more; Mehl Berry Farms that sells strawberries; Fisher Farms that sells apricots, pluots, plums, apples, pears, grapes, peaches, tomatoes; M & L Campuzano Farms that sells tomatoes, beans, squash, chilies, melons, onions and more.; Four K Farms that sells natural and flavored almonds and walnuts, fruit spreads, fruit butters and almond butter, almond flour, dried fruit, English cucumbers, tomatoes; Chinchiolo Farms that sells apples, cherries, pluots, peaches, nectarines; and M & L Campuzano Farms that sells fresh herbs and more.
