Sponsors for the upcoming annual Rina’s Run gathered on the Ripon High School track to demonstrate their support for the Saturday, May 11, 5K/half marathon run/walk.The fundraiser is focused on the ongoing Ripon High Stadium revitalization. The effort has already seen a transformation of the field and its facilities for football as well as for track and field events including new grass and a state-of-the-art scoreboard with a promised all-weather track.The sponsors include Bob Brocchini, of Brocchini Farms; Todd Filbrun, of Kurios (solar) Energy; Dave Kamper and Bere Lindley representing SSJID; Kelly Cole and Kim Bellino, DiBuduo & DeFendis; Kevin Hawes, Ability Mortgage and Gregg Wilson, Vernon Transportation. The half marathon is set to start at 7 a.m. followed by the 5K walk and run at 8:30 a.m. Runners will be hosted to breakfast by the Ripon Rotary Club.
