A golf tournament on Monday will help fund Marissas Closet that makes prom dresses available free of charge.

A golf tournament to benefit Marissa’s Closet will be held Monday, March 23, at the Spring Creek Golf & Country Club in Ripon. Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. with tee-off set for noon.

Registration fee is $130 per person; $520 for each foursome. The fee includes lunch, green fees, cart, awards, and dinner following the game.

Players will have opportunities to win awards in contests such as a hole-in-one — winner wins a car — putting competition, and a mystery hole, plus the “ball drop” contest which will give the winner $1,000.

Hole sponsors are being sought — $100 for a sign advertising your business posted at a tee box. All sponsors will be recognized at the awards dinner.
