Ripon VFW sock hop on Saturday

It’s going to be a “sock hop” of the 1950s at the West Ripon Road VFW post Saturday starting at 5 p.m. with dancing to the period songs that will have the place jumping to the juke box music of the era. The cost is $10 per person. Records from 78s to 45s hang from the ceilings with a menu of the day for party-goers that include hamburgers, hotdogs, fries and drinks that include milkshakes, root beer and root beer floats with and without added alcohol.
