RIPON – The Ripon Veterans of Foreign Wars is staging their third annual Luau Fund Raiser, to benefit the Ladies Auxiliary and Iraq fund.

It takes place Saturday, Sept. 19, at 12455 W. Ripon Road, Ripon, from 2 to 11 p.m. There will be dinner, dancing and dunking for a $10 donation. Dinner will include kailua pork, Hawaiian chicken, sweet potato salad, surfers slaw and pineapple upside down cake. Dinner will be served from 4 to 6 p.m., dancing to DJ Alan from 6 to 11 p.m. and dunking from 2 to 7 p.m. All proceeds from the dunk tank will go directly to our Iraq fund. This fund is used to ship packages to the men and women serving our country. We ship every three months. If you have a loved one serving in the armed forces, please give us their name and address and we will add them to our shipping list. So come on out and dunk your favorite veteran or friend.

Be there from 3 to 5 p.m. and get the chance to dunk Ripon City Councilman Dean Uecker.
