Oakland Port operations get back to normal OAKLAND (AP) — Oakland Port officials say operations are back to normal after a one-day strike blocked trucks from entering the facility. The striking custodial and maintenance workers and dock workers who refused to cross the picket line in a show of solidarity were back at work on Wednesday. The strike also included workers at the Oakland International Airport, which is overseen by the port.
