Kenneth “Duck” VanBoven passed on Saturday, March 7th surrounded by family. Ken was born on April 11, 1942, in Newaygo, MI to Bert and Alice VanBoven. He was one of 9 children and attended Ripon Chrisitan Schools.
His career in operating water trucks brought him to work for many construction companies in his 30-year career.
Ken was a loving, hardworking and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He enjoyed fishing, welding, tinkering, gardening and designing homes. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, love and devotion to his family.
Ken is survived by his beloved wife Elaine; his children, Pauline (Don) Camara and Claudine (Danny) Brasil; his grandchildren, Colton Camara, Trenton (Ashley) Camara, Joshua (Tessa) Camara, Jared Brasil, Justin Brasil; and two great- grandchildren.
Celebration of Life is Saturday, March 21, at 12:30 p.m. Escalon Presbyterian Church, 1612 1st Street, Escalon, CA.
