Aileen Ellen Daniels, 70, passed away at approximately 2pm on November 9, 2010 at Dameron Hospital in Stockton, CA after prolonged illness.  

Aileen was born on June 19, 1940 in Stockton, CA, to Albert and Myrle Daniels. Aileen attended Stagg High School where she graduated in 1958. Soon after graduation, Aileen began a career in the library system for the city of Stockton where she worked for over 25 years until her retirement.

Aileen was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints. She found great enjoyment in helping others and she was an avid reader who loved her family, crafts, people, and her three pets Prince, Spirit and Kit, the cat.  Aileen generously shared her time and talents in serving her family, friends, and community throughout her life. Her kind heart and gentle demeanor were always accompanied with a warm smile that left a permanent impression on all those who knew and loved her.  

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Kurt and Tina Hernandez, and her three grand children Alexis, Kurt and Briayna of Stockton, CA.  She was preceded in death by her parents: Albert and Myrle Daniels and her three brothers Delbert, Kenny and Alan Daniels.  

At the family’s request, a memorial service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints, Don Avenue Chapel located at 8806 Don Ave. Stockton, CA from 6 to 7 p.m. There will be no graveside services following the memorial service. Aileen will be greatly missed.
