Bernadette Caravalho,63, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 in Stockton after a long illness. She was born in Honolulu, HI on December 5, 1950 to George and Lucy Gomes.
   Bernadette leaves behind a daughter, Tina Torres and husband Andrew, granddaughters; Aliyah and Jasmine Torres, sister; Lillian Thoet, brothers; John “Sonny” Vargas, George Gomes, and his companion Marry Williams, Michael Vargas, James Gomes and wife Diane and sister-in-law Judith Cahill. She also leaves behind 24 nieces and nephews.
Services are to be held at Park View Cemetery, 3661 French Camp Rd, Manteca, CA, on Monday, October 13, 2014, at 9 a.m.
