Services for Douglas Walter Brodie are set for 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, at the DeYoung Funeral Home Shoreline Chapel located at 7676 Shoreline Drive near I-5 and Hammer Lane in Stockton.

Brodie, 83, passed away in Stockton on Saturday, Feb. 13. He was a 1945 Manteca High graduate and the author of two books in his retirement from the newspaper business and from City of Stockton administration.
