Bruce D. Adams passed away on September 10, 2014, in Manteca, CA, he was born in Sebastopol, CA, raised, and lived in French Camp, CA.
   Bruce was preceded in death by his wife, Alice M. Adams, (1925-1993).   He is survived by his four children: Janet L. Willis (Warren), Cedar City, UT; Bruce D. Adams Jr., Stockton, CA; Susan G. Luczu (Lou), East Brunswick, NJ; and Wendy J. Gorman (Mike), Sacramento, CA; his seven grandchildren, Warren Willis Jr., Tamara Tremble, Wesley Waite Jr., Stephanie Landry, Bruce Adams III, Tiffany Sanchez, and Janel Kewley; ten great-grandchildren, Shelby Bowman, Jessica Waite, Tyler Waite, David Landry, Eli Landry, Jeremiah Adams, Jordan Adams, Amy Sanchez, Alex Sanchez, Evelyn Sanchez; and one great-great granddaughter, Madison Rose Klinger. He is also survived by two sisters: Iona Wisby of Bandon, OR; and Cynthia Watts, of Escalon, CA, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
   Bruce was a wonderful father and grandfather.  He was also loved by his many family members and friends.  Bruce was a farmer, then a land-leveler.  Bruce also volunteered his time with the French Camp Fire Department, 1950’s and 1960’s; he was a member of the Lion’s Club, 1960’s and 1970’s; he was President and member of the PTA at French Camp Elementary School, 1950’s and 1960’s.  After Bruce retired from land-leveling, he worked as a mechanic at several canneries in Stockton, CA.
  Once Bruce retired, he did some traveling around the US, often accompanying his sisters to family weddings and other celebrations. He also spent time visiting his friends and neighbors, before moving to Merrill Gardens at Manteca, October of 2010.
