Charmoné L. (Smith) Harris, age 75, entered into rest March 7, 2013 in Manteca, CA. She was born in Portland, OR April 13, 1937.    Charmoné has been a resident of Manteca for 49 years. She is preceded in death by her parents Ronald & Dorothy Smith, as well as one brother David C. Roberts.

Charmoné  is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Willie Bruce Harris of Manteca, her children Starla Harris-Houston of Manteca; Ron Harris of Manteca; two granddaughters, Kaitlyn Houston & Lindsay Stayner.
Charmoné was a thoughtful and giving person who loved and cherished her family and friends.  Her relationship with God was always a priority.  She was a wonderful caregiver with a big heart.  She loved animals and gave to animal organizations. Mrs. Harris  received an honorary service award for her dedicated service to the Shasta Elementary School PTA. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Services for Charmoné L. Harris have been entrusted to PL Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road, Manteca.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, March 14, at 11:00 am at Park View Cemetery, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca.  An online guest book is available at www.plfryandson.com for condolences. Donations may be made to your favorite animal charity of choice.
