David Robert Bradfute, passed away at the age of 53, February 15, 2013 in Modesto, CA after a long

battle with cancer surrounded by his loving family.

David was born June 20, 1959, in Stockton, CA to his late father Robert Doss Bradfute and his mother Nita Colombo-Davis. He grew up in Escalon, CA before moving to Tracy, where he graduated in 1977 from Tracy High School.

David enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved his Oakland Raiders, Oakland “A”s and NASCAR racing.

He also enjoyed sports, i.e. softball and bowling. He had a passion for classic rock. He enjoyed watching TV with his nephews and family.

He enjoyed being a part of the Relay for Life walk.

He was currently employed at Tracy Chop and Molding in Tracy, CA for 26 years. He loved his job and the people he worked with.

David had many friends who he loved and shared special memories with. During his illness, his beloved dog, Max was his constant companion and best friend. We will miss his big heart and the love he shared for his family. The memories we have will live in our hearts forever.

We can rest knowing he is in the hands of the Lord.

He is survived by his mother, Nita Colombo-Davis and step-father Henry Davis of Tracy, CA, sisters, Christine Steenburgh of Manteca, CA, Julie Bradfute and Catherine Colombo- Garza (Vince) of Tracy, CA, Mark Vieira (Shawn) of Modesto, CA, nieces, Kayleen and Kathleen Garza of Tracy, CA and Catherine Green of Modesto, CA, nephews, David John and Christopher Steenburgh of Manteca, CA and Joshua Green of Colorado along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A special thank you to our sister-in-law (Shawn) who’s love and constant care for David at the end of his illness meant so much, there are no words to express our love and gratitude.

Also a special thanks to Hospice for their help and care at this difficult time.

Visitation and Rosary at Parkview Cemetery and Funeral Home, 3661 East French Camp Rd, Manteca, CA, Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 5:30 to 8:00 pm.

Graveside services at St. Johns Cemetery, 17871 S. Carrolton Rd. Escalon, CA

at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 1, 2013, followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 at Big Valley Grace Community Church, 4040 Tully Rd., Modesto, CA.

Remembrances may be sent to Parkview Cemetery or Big Valley Grace Community Church.
