MANTECA
January 3, 1935 — July 7, 2014

Doris Ellen Hoff, 79, went home to Heaven on July 7, 2014. She was born on January 3, 1935 in Hemet, California to James and Marjorie Harvey. Doris’ parents and three of her sisters preceded her in death. Her sisters were Virginia Robbins, Nancy Harvey, and Rita Harvey.

Mrs. Hoff is survived by her loving husband of 60 plus years, William Hoff. She has two children, Becky Kay Feland (Eldon) and William Gregory Hoff (Cindy). She was blessed with five grandchildren, Amy Ryan (Patrick), Katie Miller (Les), Dr. Jeffrey Feland, Shawna Hoff and Tim Hoff. She adored her three great-grandchildren Kaycee and Caleb Snyder, and Maile Miller. In addition Doris had one surviving sister; Marjorie Monte.

Forty-three years ago Doris made Manteca CA. her home. Doris was a worker and always kept busy. For 19 years she worked at American Air as a service manager. After that she went on to volunteer many of her hours to helping the grand kids and great grand kids, with school and other activities. She was a proud member of the Parkside Church of Christ, where she did many things to further God’s work. Doris called, visited, and provided meals to those in need. She in general made sure everyone was well taken care of.

Crocheting and sewing were some of Doris’ talents. She enjoyed reading and keeping up with current events around the world. Doris will be remembered as a woman who loved God and her family unconditionally. She will be deeply missed.
