Doris entered into rest on Friday, October 28 in Manteca, CA. A Native of Louisville, CO, Mrs. Cox lived in Manteca for 14 years, working in her son David’s chiropractic office for 11 of those years as a chiropractic assistant.

Her husband Charles and one brother Ronnie Jensen preceded her in their passing.

Survivors include her sons, Dr. David C. Cox, his wife Michelle of Manteca, and George Cox, a police officer in Arizona; brothers Bob Jensen and his wife Lillie, of Compton CA, and a sister Barbara Peterson. Three grandchildren include Matthew and Joanne of Davis, CA, and Brittney of Manteca.

Family members describe her “loves” as being her husband, her sons, and their families, her dogs, fishing, baking, family dinners, dancing, roses, reading, new adventures and just helping people.

A memorial service will be held at the Calvary Community Church in Manteca on Thursday, November 3, at 12:30pm, following an 11:30am graveside service at Park View Cemetery.

A reception is being planned following the memorial service at Chez Shari at the Manteca Golf Course.
