Jim, also known as Earl or Jimmy, peacefully passed from this life on June3, after a gradual decline in health.  His loving family, friends and caregivers, during the last days of his life, surrounded him.
   Jim was born in Lindsey, Oklahoma and moved to Ripon, California with his parents and brother in 1942, where he attended Ripon High School and met the love of his life, Mary Ann Bussing. They were married February 12, 1955. Jim was in the U.S. Navy from 1952-1956.  He worked for Tracy Defense Depot until he retired in 1988.  
   Jim leaves behind his loving wife of 63 years, Mary Ann Green, and their four children and spouses, Shellie Vasquez and Richard, Greg Green and Sally, Neil Green and Annett, Janell Zuidervaart and Kenny; and eight grandchildren and spouses. He also leaves behind seven great- grandchildren and one on the way. Jim is also survived by his brother Charles Green and his wife Nancy.
   Private Internment for family is at Burwood Cemetery, Escalon, California.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 3:00 p.m. at Parkwood Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 301 Claratina Ave., Modesto, CA.
