Fortunata “Nancy” Miller, 83, of Oakland, California went home to be with the Lord on April 25, 2011 at St. Rose Hospital while surrounded by her family.  

She was born June 11, 1927 in the Philippines and is now resting peacefully with her husband, Ray Eldon Miller.  She is survived by her five children: Tessie Fernandez, Anna Schmick, Evelyn Keller, Ray E. Miller Jr. and James Miller, her 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held on May 2, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. at Chapel of Chimes in Hayward, California.   

A Funeral Mass will be held on May 3, 2011 at 10 a.m. at St. Anne’s in Union City.  Burial will take place immediately following the mass at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward.
