Born on March 2, 1942 in Nevada County, California, George Larry Muncy, entered into rest on October 20, 2015.
   He is survived by his loving family; wife of 43 years Judy, children Kevin Muncy (Cheryl), Yvonne Grabowski (Brian) and Heather Muncy, grandchildren, Jacob, Alex, Nicholas and Danielle, siblings, Wesley Muncy and Norma MacMillan.
   George was a resident of Manteca and previously of Atwater and San Jose. After high school he proudly served his country through the United States Army. He made his career as an analyst working at United Defense/FMC for over 32 years. George was a reserved man who enjoyed reading over several cups of coffee. He loved the outdoors especially tending to his yard, fishing and camping. He had a talent for baking sweets as he was known for his delicious homemade apple pies. George was a wonderful listener who had a great sense of humor. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed.
