Harriet “Bunny” Herren entered into rest peacefully in Manteca. She is preceded in death by her husband Vernon and son Glenn. Harriet leaves behind eight children and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 Harriet lovingly known as Bunny to her family and friends was a faithful member of United Lutheran Church.  She was a proud Navy wife as she involved herself in many different U.S. veteran organizations including The VFW Lady Fleet Reserve Auxiliary and was a past president of unit 275/Placerville. Through her life as a Navy wife she traveled with her husband and children to many different parts of the world discovering new lands and territories. When at home Bunny would often redecorate and make amazing floral arrangement, she was self taught and had a true eye for design.  Bunny loved her family dearly and always looked forward to get togethers and she let everyone know how much she truly cared. Bunny will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and special friend. She will be missed dearly.

 Arrangements are under the direction of P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband at San Joaquin National Cemetery, 32053 West McCabe Road, Santa Nella on Friday, April 1, at 1:30 p.m.  For condolences to the family please visit our website at www.plfryandson.com search/obituaries
