Harvey “Wes” Malott Jr, 61, passed away in the company of his loved ones on Monday, February 10, 2014.
   He was born to the late Harvey Weston Malott Sr. and Jane Rippeteau Malott, February 22, 1952, in Kansas City, Missouri. Wes graduated from Manteca High School in 1970. He married Emily “M” Selby Malott in 1976, and they lived together in Manteca for twenty five years before retiring to Dayton, Nevada.
   Wes worked for his parents at their Malott’s Honda Yamaha motorcycle dealership before taking over the business full time with his wife in 1979. He counted many of his employees and customers as his friends.
   Wes was an affable, personable soul who made fast friends everywhere he went. He was an avid NASCAR fan, and loved rooting for his favorite sport teams, the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Oakland Raiders.
   Wes is survived by his wife, Emily Malott, of Dayton, NV; his son Harvey “Weston” Malott III of Seattle, WA; and his sister, Kathy Malott of Desert Hot Springs, CA.
   Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 16th at 10:00 a.m. at Park View Cemetery, 3661 French Camp Road, Manteca, CA 95336
