He moved to Southern California in mid 1960, married his first wife, Sheri and started a family.  In 1979, Jim, Sheri and daughters, Sabrina and Jenny, relocated to Modesto. There he established Mid Cal Plumbing, which under his ownership and through his hard work and dedication, thrived until his retirement in 2013.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents and sisters; Mary and Juanita and his former wife, Sheri.    Jim’s family wishes to thank the Gaither family and support staff at Valley Comfort of Modesto for the guidance, kindness, care, support and respect shown during his two year stay.

A tribute to Jim and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer/Dementia Support Center of Modesto, Seva Hospice of Stanislaus County or a favorite charity.
