James Patrick Carter, also known as Pat, passed away in Manteca, CA, at the age of 76, on August 9, 2018.

   Pat was born in the state of Oklahoma to his mother, LuLu Mae Bradford and father ,George Mitchell Carter Jr., on May 4, 1945.

   Pat is survived by his wife, Sylvia Carter, her three children, and their 10 grandchildren.  He is also survived by his four children, nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

   A celebration of life will be held at Calvary Chapel, in Manteca, CA at  

2:00 p.m. August 26, 2018.  Burial will be at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Santa Nella, CA on August 27, 2018 at 12:00 p.m.

   Pat Carter proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.  He had a passion for spreading the word of God, serving our lord as a faithful Christian, and loving his entire family unconditionally.  Pat will be missed, but never forgotten.
