It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jerry Bradley on September 9, 2017 in Tracy, California. Jerry Bradley was born in Gastonia,  North Carolina but resided in French Camp, California for the last 58 years. 
   Jerry was an Air Force veteran. He was in the fire service for 30 years and he retired at the rank of Assistant Chief.  For many years he was a columnist, sports writer and movie critic for the Manteca News.  He served on several association boards and supported several charities in the French Camp community and in 1987 he was  selected as “Man of the Year”.  He was an excellent athlete and an avid sports fan who loved traveling and spending time with his family.
   He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Beverly, his daughter Debbie Kaphengst and his son Randall (Dana) Bradley.  He is survived by his grandchildren Todd (Wendy) Bradley, Shane (Lura) Kaphengst, Kati Bradley, Jessica Collette and Ronnie Collette.  He is also survived by four great grandchildren, Wyatt and triplets Ally, Sydney and Carly.
   He was preceded in death by his mother Martha Bradley and his father Clarence Hewitt. 
   Services will be held at Park View Memorial Chapel, in French Camp, California on Wednesday, September 20, at 10:00 a.m.
