Jimmie E. Cloud, 67, a 30 year resident of Manteca and Teamster’s retiree passed away Monday. November 23, 2009 unexpectedly while hospitalized at Doctors Hospital of Manteca.

Mr. Cloud was a native of Longview, Texas, born on May 16,1942 to Dan and Edith Cloud. He has lived in San Joaquin County for 53 years. He attended French Camp Elementary and graduated from Franklin High School.

Jim was a musician playing locally for many years, a freshwater fisherman and an avid coin collector. He was Charter member and Vice President of the Central Valley Coin Club in Riverbank.

Papa was a warm-hearted, giving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He is survived by: his wife of 48 years, N. Margaret Cloud of Manteca; children - Rodney E. Cloud and wife Debra ol Manteca, and Stephanie K. Reyna-Hiestand and husband James of Ripon; siblings - Charles L. Cloud and wife Phyllis of Sacramento, Raymond E. Cloud and wife Linda of Pioneer, Naomi Campbell and husband Louis of Stockton and Jacqueline Hernandez of Texas;  grandchildren - Jeremiah and Zecheriah Cloud of Copperopolis, Deidre Reyna of Manteca, George Robson and Dylan Fisher of Ripon, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be held at noon on Monday, Nov. 30, at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave., Tracy. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon. Interment will be private.
