Joyce Elaine Aguilar, 77, entered into rest on September 17, 2009 in Manteca.

She was born on December 9, 1931 in Fresno, California to the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard and Minnie Nicely. She was a Manteca resident for over 50 years.

Mrs. Aguilar is survived by her loving husband of 32 years Rodrigo Aguilar of Manteca and her beloved daughter Paulette Tackaberry of Manteca. She was blessed by 2 grandchildren Justin Fells of Manteca and Trisha Fells of Manteca. She has 3 great-grandchildren whom she adored dearly; Faith Fells, Devin Fells and Jacob Fells all of Manteca. In addition she has one surviving sister Maxine Murchison of Manteca.

Joyce retired after 30 years as an apartment manager. Additionally Joyce worked as a waitress for over 24 years at Hong Kong Café in Stockton, California. She enjoyed trips to local casinos, county music, and dancing.  Joyce truly loved taking care of her home and cooking for family and friends. She will be remembered for her spunky personality, her zest for life and for being an all round great lady. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Aguilar’s services are being handled by P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home of Manteca. Visitation will be on Sunday September 20, from 1 to 5 p.m. held at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home 290 N. Union Road, Manteca. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, September 21, at 1 p.m.  also held at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home. Final Resting Place will be held at East Union Cemetery, Manteca.
