Leonard Alexander Rieb, Sr. passed away peacefully on January 1, 2021. Leonard was born on July 25, 1940 in Nebraska. He resided in Nebraska until his teen years when he then relocated to Manteca, CA in 1954 with his family.  Leonard resided in Manteca for the duration of his life.  He graduated from Manteca High School in 1959.  He married Darlene Yandell in 1963 and they welcomed four beautiful children, Tammy, Sherry, Lenny and Michael.  He enjoyed working on cars with his sons and spending his weekends at the baseball fields watching his son play.
   Leonard worked over 40 years as a welder and was a member of the Millwrights for 50 years.  He enjoyed his weekly dinners with his parents and his siblings.  He loved spending time with his family.  After he retired he enjoyed taking his granddaughters to school everyday and bringing them donuts for the ride to school.  He enjoyed working with son on different projects and being the boss.   He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren , and when he wasn’t at the ball park he enjoyed watching NASCAR races and the 49ers on Sundays.  He loved to go to all of his son’s softball games and tournaments and hang out with all the guys.
   Leonard is survived by his children, Sherry Prosser and Lenny Rieb (Teresa Rieb), grandchildren Chelsea Baldwin, Robert Milby, Taylor Prosser, Jaycee Rieb, great-grandchildren Ethan Starr, Robert and Tamma Milby, siblings Kenneth Rieb, Loren Rieb, Wayne Rieb, Roger Rieb, Tim Rieb, Loretta Rieb, and Joanne Rieb.
   Leonard is preceded in death by his parents Conrad and Emma Rieb, his ex-wife Darlene Rieb-Griffith, his daughter Tammy Milby and son Michael Rieb, granddaughter Heather Prosser-Starr, and brother Phillip Rieb.
   Leonard’s family appreciates all of your love and prayers.   A memorial fund will be set up at Bank of Stockton under the name of Leonard A. Rieb, Sr. to help with funeral expenses.
   A graveside service will held for Leonard at Lakewood Cemetery in Hughson, CA on Wednesday January 13, 2021 at 10 a.m. where he will be laid to rest.  Due to COVID restrictions social distancing and masks are required.
