Marc John De Jong, 48, entered into rest on September 25, 2017 in Big Oak Flat, CA. He was born on October 27, 1968 in Manteca, CA.
   He is preceded in death by his father Pete De Jong.
   Marc is survived by his only son Jacob Nobriga, mother Glenda De Jong, sister Amy De Jong and nephew Casey Henke, as well as, many extended family members who loved him dearly.
   Marc was a resident of Groveland but grew up in Manteca graduating from Manteca High in 1986. He proudly served with the United States Navy on the USS Enterprise. Marc was a member of the Carpenter’s union as he made his career in construction for over 28 years. Marc was a true outdoorsman which brought him to living in Groveland for the past 10 years. He loved fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles and hanging out with friends. He was a huge Ram’s fan and enjoyed the companionship of his dogs. He was extremely creative and could build or fix just about anything. Above all, Marc was most proud of his son, Jake. He was exceptionally proud of him and his life decisions. His love for his son was truly unconditional.
