Marguerite Anne Kaslin was peacefully taken to the Lord on May 23, 2012 while surrounded by her loving family in Modesto, CA.

She was born to Ida and Martin Betschart in Oakland, CA., on July 24, 1937. She lived in Stockton, and in 1979 moved to Manteca. She was devoted to the Lord and attended St. Anthony’s Catholic Church where she was actively involved in the YLI. Marguerite also spent many faithful years dedicated to Our Lady of All Nations, the VFW and the Swiss Hall.

Marguerite was preceded in death by her daughter Theresa Kaslin. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Edward Kaslin of Manteca, sister Rosalie Betschart, son Martin Kaslin (Laurie), daughter Marguerite Kaslin(Richard), daughter Marie Kaslin (Randy), son Walter Kaslin (Dawn) six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Arrangments for Mrs. Kaslin are under the direction of P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 NORTH Union Road, Manteca. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 30, 2012 from 1 to 5 p.m. at P.L. Fry. A mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, May 31 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 505 East North St., Manteca. She will be laid to rest at S. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Escalon.
