Marilyn T. Scott, 79, entered into rest on Thursday, February 11, in Manteca. She was born on February 7, 1931 in Yuba City, California. In heaven she joins her father Virgil Johnson. She was a Manteca resident of 5 years and previously of Livermore for over 30 years.

Ms. Scott is survived by her three children, Janet Gundersen of Madera, Carol Dunn of Tennessee, and David Scott and his wife Elizabeth of Manteca. Marilyn was blessed by 6 grandchildren; Sabrena Haywood, Andrew Gundersen, Justin Scott, Tyler Scott, Corey Scott and Emily Scott.

Marilyn enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren; she loved them unconditionally as they adored her. She will be remembered as a reserved lady who loved her family.

Ms. Scott’s arrangements were handled by P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home of Manteca. Marilyn was laid to rest in a private family service at Brentwood Cemetery in Brentwood, California.
