Patsy L. Staton passed away May 27, 2012 in Lathrop, CA at age 69. She was born March 26, 1943 in Sacramento, CA. Patsy lived in Lathrop, CA for the last two and a half years.

Patsy was a high school graduate. She was homemaker. She adored her family. Patsy was a member of Calvary Community Church. She took quilting classes with her sister, Donna Martin. She was a former member of the Tracy Garden Club with her mother Merilee. Her other hobbies included reading, camping, quilting and baking. We will miss her cookies at Christmas. Patsy was a very giving, loving person; she always gave to others before herself.

Patsy is preceded in death by her husband Garry Staton, her father Emmett Light of Tracy, and her daughter Marry Hadwin of Manteca. She is survived by daughters; Barbara Tank and husband Doug of Lathrop, Sherri Snowberger and husband Dan of Tracy, Sandra Gallegos and husband Robert of Oakdale, and Lorraine Staton of Ozark, AK, sons; Jeff Wells of Stockton and Larry Staton and wife Erma of Portland, OR, brother Ray Light of Stockton, sister Donna Martin of Escalon, mother Merilee Light of Tracy, 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 7th, at 1:00 PM at Calvary Community Church, 815 W. Lathrop Rd., Manteca, CA. In lieu of flowers or plants, donations may be made to Community Hospice of Modesto.
