Rosalia Perez Torres, 82, entered into rest surrounded by her loving family on June 29, 2018 at her home in Manteca. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late Julio and Aurelia Perez on November 27, 1934. In heaven Rosalia joins her loving son Pedro “Pete” Torres, Jr. 

   She leaves behind her beloved husband Pedro Torres, Sr., children, Rosa Maria Torres Lujan of Salida, Patricia Milobar and husband Frank of San Jose and Gabriel Torres and wife Denise of Tracy.  She was blessed with ten grandchildren, Yvonne Steglik (Michael), Nicardro Lujan (Maritza), Angelica Cruz, Andres Lujan, Melanie Torres, Jennifer Torres,  Steven Walraven (Jennifer), Rachel Wicklander (Adam), Victoria Torres and Brenda Torres. In addition she was blessed with nine great grandchildren. 

    Born in Corpus Christi, TX, growing up in Laredo, Rosalia made her way to Milpitas, California along with her family and would later call Manteca home. She retired after 35 years as a nurse for Kaiser Permanente.  She loved to sing, dance and spend times outdoors, fishing or beautifying her garden. She enjoyed a good book. She loved spending time with her family and would make them feel special in every way. Up until her last days her love for candy was undeniable and See’s Peanut Brittle was her absolute favorite. 

   Rosalia will be remembered for her loving nature, for being a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, but mostly for living her life for the care she gave to others.  She will be deeply missed.  

   P.L. Fry and Son is honored to serve the Torres family. A prayer service will be held in her honor on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at 

1:00 p.m. at P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca. Donations may be made in her honor to Community Hospice, 2431 W.
