   Virginia Lee Weis, of Lafayette, passed away suddenly at the Walnut Creek Kaiser Hospital on April 15, 2015 following a cardiac arrest. Virginia was born on November 20, 1934 in Colville, WA to Tom and Sarah Clark. She moved to California when she was a Junior and finished high school in Manteca.
   Virginia is survived by her husband of  63 years  Alvin Weis, two sons Michael of Lafayette, David and daughter-in-law Peggy of Chico. Four grandchildren Tamara Angelos, Jeffery Weis, John Weis, Jennifer Hatcher and four great-grandchildren. 
   She is also survived by ten brothers and sisters who reside mostly in and around Portland, OR.
   Virginia enjoyed playing the guitar and group sing- alongs with her family.  She was a San Francisco Giant’s baseball fan and a better than average golfer.  She also enjoyed knitting and working with her roses.  Virginia’s deepest interest was always her family.  She adored her grandchildren.
   A Memorial Service honoring Virginia’s life will be held on Saturday, May 30  at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 910 East North Street, Manteca, CA 95336.
   A reception will follow in the church Fellowship Hall.
