She was born October 22, 1938, in Conawa, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Sparks had been a Manteca resident for 20 years. She was a retired school teacher.

She is survived by her father Delbert Gibson; children Daran Sparks of Manteca and Kari Sparks of Ceres; siblings Bobby Gibson and Wayne Gibson, both of Bakersfield; and grandchildren Kasee Sparks, Michael Sparks, Kory Kneehans, and Karissa Kneehans.

Mom will be missed by many.  She gave her heart and smile and love to all who were willing to receive it; also a hug for every child in the world.  We will all think of her every time a flower blooms.
