There have been several letters to the paper, the latest by Mr. Breacain, complaining about the lack of diversity on the OP-ED page. I had to laugh when in the upper right side of the same page his letter appeared on was a rather large piece from Domenica Ghanem from the Institute for Policy Studies. 

Myself, I think the paper has just about the right balance because half the time I disagree with the Perspective pieces but I still read them all because I think it’s unwise to only read articles that reinforce your own opinions.

I’m not sure what age has to do with anything (both Bozell and Elder are in their 60s) but if there is an old folks’ home for aged, tired ideas I’m sure right next to Pat Buchanan’s bed is Jim Hightower’s ( if the paper dropped both of them I wouldn’t lose any sleep over it) .
