LaMar is the starting catcher for runner-up William Jessup University (10-5, 24-17). She batted .361 with nine doubles five homers and 26 RBIs for the Warriors of Rocklin. In conference play she batted .434 and boasted a .642 slugging percentage.
Simpson and Jessup are currently playing in an NAIA regional postseason tournament.
