Hurlbutt, Brown lift Stockton over Visalia

STOCKTON  (AP) —Seth Brown hit a two-run home run and had three hits, driving in three, and Dustin Hurlbutt struck out 11 hitters over six innings as the Stockton Ports defeated the Visalia Rawhide 8-1 on Monday.
Hurlbutt (2-2) allowed one run and two hits to get the win.
With the game tied 1-1, the Ports took the lead for good in the third inning when Brown homered to bring home Eli White.
The Ports later scored five runs in the seventh to finish off the blowout.
Justin Donatella (2-8) went five innings, allowing three runs and five hits in the California League game. He also struck out three and walked one. Boomer Biegalski pitched three scoreless innings for his second save of the season.
