Lincoln Trojans conquer Manteca Chargers

The Lincoln Trojans junior varsity blanked the Manteca Chargers 40-0 Saturday in Delta Youth Football action at Daniel Teicheira Memorial Stadium.

Manteca’s Eli Ruiz made three receptions for 45 yards.

Josiah Johnson made three tackles for the Chargers. Myles Boling and Easton Barreras recovered a fumble and Herman San Nicolas forced a fumble. Diesel Spangler, Damian Ivers, Christian Porter, Isaac Rashada and Michael Moreno-Gonsalez all contributed to the defense.

Manteca’s Cameron Love gained 50 yards on five carries.

Jameson Vargas made five tackles for the Chargers and Keith Tobler four. Cameron Love forced and recovered a fumble and Grayson Flowers recovered a fumble. Kason Hendrix contributed to the defense.

 

Junior novice

Manteca’s Hunter Seals tallied 50 yards on five carries.

Legend Vincent recovered a fumble for the Chargers. Francisco Santos, Ryan Hand, Elias Sanchez- Blanco and Parker Wallace contributed to the defense.

Modesto Rams 14, Ripon Knights 6

Gil Rangel scored the lone touchdown for the Knights novice at Downey High.

Rangel gained 125 yards on 10 carries and Ben Holfman added 40 yards on six carries. Grayson Campbell, Mac Ward, Gunnar Gorbunoff and Hudson Browne all contributed to the offense.

Holfman posted 11 tackles, Nicolas Rangel seven, Mack Ward and Grayson Campbell five apiece and Gil Rangel three. Gorbunoff recovered a fumble while Malachi Clayton, Hunter Camera, Hudson Browne and Michael MacKneilage all contributing to the defense.
