Armondo Torres conquered the 75-plus pound bantam division Sunday in the San Joaquin Wrestling Association Championships hosted by Turlock High.

Torres was the lone member of the Lancer Youth Wrestling Club to earn a title, though three earned runner-up finishes — Tyler Diaz (50-pound bantam), Braden Rullan (65 novice) and Kody Justis (144 school boy).

Jaysen Reindel took third in the 120-pound novice division, while Jason Betlej (84 schoolboy) and Vincent Marquez (85 novice) each placed fourth.

The season isn’t over yet for the Lancers, who are gearing up for the Kids Folkstyle State Championship at Selland Arena March 18-20.
