STOCKTON — Kaitlyn Rausa and Claire Banks led a dominant effort in singles play, as Sierra rolled to a 7-2 Valley Oak League win at Weston Ranch.

Rausa swept past Jaskirat Kaur 6-2, 6-0 in the No. 1 singles match, while Banks blanked Alyssa Ryan, 6-0, 6-0. Nadia Petrovic (6-2, 6-2), Katarina Malabanan (6-1, 6-4) and Sydney Huynh (6-3, 6-1) also produced wins for the Timberwolves, who improved to 9-3.

Krista Harris and Alejandra Pacheco won at No. 1 doubles, 6-3, 6-1. Louia Hunter and Natlie Rootsaert prevailed in the second doubles match, 6-2, 6-2. 

Weston Ranch’s Jasdeep Hothi prevented a singles sweep for Sierra, edging Carly Cunial 6-0, 3-6, 6-2. The Cougars third doubles tandem of Jennifer Kainth and Karman Basra contributed a 6-4, 1-6, 10-7 victory.
