It isn’t everyday that you find a car that has it all.

And for those lucky enough to find a car that suits all of their needs, getting it in all-wheel drive is next to impossible unless you’re willing to shell out even more money for your dream machine.

Not if you’re in the market for the 2009 Suzuki SX4.

The crossover vehicle sports not only a push-button all-wheel drive system that makes handling just about any road condition a breeze, but also a higher ground clearance than the other vehicles in its class – names that have been dominating the “best of” lists for decades.

With fuel efficiency that stretches as far as 33 miles per gallon and a current special where new SX4 buyers receive free gas for three months and rebate offers up to $2,000, it becomes more of a question of why not.

“What buyers are looking for today is something that’s reliable and economical and the Suzuki SX4 is definitely both of those things,” Cabral Suzuki Sales Associate Marty Steves said. “When you factor in the all-wheel drive, the removable navigation, and all of the monetary perks like gas and rebates it’s easy to see why people are interested in these cars.”

Armed with a 7-year, 100,000-mile power train on each new model and a 3-year, 36,000-mile full coverage warranty only enhances the overall appearance of a model that has crossed the generational boundaries when it comes to new buyers – people who enjoy the sleek lines and seductive layout as much as they do the 2.0-liter DOHC motor that makes those rural straight-aways feel like the home stretch of Daytona.

And to be able to do so with modern technology and safety adds just one more perk.

Certain SRX4 models come equipped with a navigation system that not only gets you where you need to go but can be removed so that you can find your way in the backcountry that your all-wheel drive got you to in the first place.

Things like up-to-the-minute traffic reports, local gas prices, movie times, and temperatures are also available on the unit.

But it’s the cargo inside that’s the most important, and the SX4 boasts an Electronic Stability System and Traction Control System that helps keep the vehicle from sliding in uneven terrain – circumstances that can often lead to the rollover accidents that produce nasty results.

“The SX4 has got room for people to sit comfortably and it got one of the highest safety ratings in its class,” Steves said. “You’re getting a lot of car for your money when you’re investing in something like this.”
