As a Dodge dealership, Cabral Motors at 1145 W. Yosemite Ave. is currently offering rebates and incentives on the new Challenger, Journey and Dart.
Allen Cole, who is a certified sales associate, knows much about the top fuel-mileage 2013 Dart.
“(The Dart) has spent more time in the air tunnel than any car in history,” he said on Tuesday.
For starters, Cole likes the 2.0-liter multi-air injection engine and 10 factory airbags that come standard.
He also favors the dual-drive disc clutch automatic transmission along with no-hydraulic steering pump. “It’s all electric to further add to the fuel economy,” said Cole.
The Dart – included is a $750 rebate – is capable of getting 37 miles per gallon, highway, and 27 mpg, city. “With a stick (manual transmission), you can get up to 41 mpg, city,” Cole said.
In addition, he noted that the Dart is “one of the most technological advanced vehicles in its price range.”
He added: “(The Dart) also has value than any car in its price range.”
Meanwhile, Adam Cardona noted that the 2013 Journey is “not a minivan but a crossover,” he said.
“It appeals to young people who aren’t quite ready to get that minivan,” said the Cabral Motors sales representative of the past four years.
Available in 2.0-liter and 3.6-liter engines – in terms of fuel efficiency, Cardona said, is only a two miles difference – the Journey can sit up to seven people comfortably.
He noted that those on the go often find the Journey much to their liking.
For those looking at a retro muscle car, Cardona, who is fluent in Spanish, will quickly point to the 2013 Dodge Challenger.
He’s been in the business for 14 years, including the last four at Cabral Motors.
“It’s the closest looking (to the original) of any retro car,” said Cardona.
The Challenger comes in three styles – 3.6-liter engine, 5.7-liter Hemi, and 6.4-liter SRT8.
As for comfort, he noted that the Challenger’s backseat offers plenty of leg room for passengers.
“Right now is a good time to buy,” Cardona said. “There are big incentives to do so from Dodge.”
